LOCATION It is important to ASKseb.com to arrange the Jib Battle, with the test demo, at a central location that is spectator friendly and easy access. The event is therefore arranged in Oslo this year. Oslo is an ideal location for the Jib Battle given its location. It is close to Gardermoen airport and has nightclubs, hotels and makes it easy for media and sponsors to attend the event. ASKseb.com are excited to present Tryvann vinter park as the host for the event given that Tryvann vinter park is a great skiing destination with a lot of potential to make this year Jib Battle one of the greatest. Tryvann vinter park is excited to host the Jib Battle this Year and is prepared to contribute with all the necessary resources to make this years event a creative and successful battle.   THE ARENA A lot of creativity and “outside the box thinking” will be put into this year’s event, so for those of you that have witnessed the previous Jib Battles will not be disappointed. The idea is to create an intimate and spectacular slope for both riders and spectators. This also enables great photo and video coverage. THE RIDERS The teams that will be representing their respective countries for this year’s event will consist of five riders. National teams from: Norway (Captain Mikkel Bang) Sweden (Captain Nicky Wieveg) Iceland (Captain Eiki Helgasson) Holland (Captain Roy Lansbergen) Denmark (Captain Casper Pedersen) Finland (Captain Fredu Sirvio) Newcomers this year! Austria (Captain Peter Konig) England (Captain Tyler Chorlton) The greatest riders from Europe have been contacted and they are excited about the event since they are spending time in Scandinavia filming urban snowboarding during December and January. The date for this year’s Jib Battle is from the 8th to the 10th of December. Four of Norway’s most promising ski jibbers have also been invited PK Hunder (Ski) Kristoffer Frankum (Ski) Stian Bødtker Berentsen (Ski) Even Sigstad (Ski) Come and watch many of the world’s best snowboarders and skiers attend live in Oslo (Norway), and at the same time try out some new products from the leading brands.
